Carbotech Engineering manufactures custom brake pads from their own line of high-performance compounds. All pads are manufactured to FMSI specifications.
Carbotech pads are manufactured with a 3 stage bonding process with a ceramic based adhesive rated to 2000F. Saftey rivets are used to ensure the pad material does not delaminate or detach. Finally, the pads are heat tempered which cures the adhesive and enables out-gassing of the pad material. With Carbotech's exclusive and proprietary manufacturing, pads can be safely worn down to as little as 0.125".
